The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Madhepura is a premier nodal teacher education institute established by the Government of Bihar under the centrally sponsored scheme of Teacher Education.
DIET Madhepura functions as an apex district-level academic authority providing academic and resource support to primary and upper primary schools. The institute conducts high-caliber pre-service teacher education (D.El.Ed), organized in-service capacity building programs, educational research, and development of locally relevant learning material (TLM).
